With the Wio Group around Lörrach and Basel – for instance as a sociable cheese fondue at Say Cheese, with a festive menu at the Michelin-starred Eckert, or Baden-style at the Krone in Inzlingen. Groups are best advised to book early.
Can you get married and celebrate your wedding in the tri-border region?+
Yes. The Eckert in Grenzach-Wyhlen offers the setting for weddings – from a festive menu in the starred restaurant to an open-air ceremony and garden party, with hotel rooms for your guests.
Where can you host a company party or team event in Lörrach?+
At the 2places in Lörrach with its bar and snackeria, at the Krone in Inzlingen with space for conferences and celebrations, or as a cheese-fondue event at Say Cheese. With catering and overnight stays on request.
How many people do you need to celebrate with the Wio Group?+
From a small private gathering to large groups, much is possible. The cheese fondue at Say Cheese is available for groups of 13 or more; for the other houses we arrange the size individually.
Does the Wio Group offer catering for celebrations and events?+
Yes. We bring our kitchen to you too – from the corporate event to the private celebration. Find out more at wio-catering.de; there is also the Schlotzeria ice-cream van with artisan gelato for 100 to 5,000 guests.
Can you book a Christmas party with cheese fondue?+
Yes – Say Cheese is our seasonal cheese-fondue pop-up and ideal for Christmas and team parties. Reserve for groups of 13 or more at wio-cheese.de.
Where can you celebrate a milestone birthday or an anniversary?+
In all the houses of the Wio Group – from a starred menu at the Eckert and Baden classics at the Krone to a relaxed evening at the 2places. We tailor the setting to your occasion.
Can guests stay overnight at the celebration?+
Yes. The Eckert, Krone, 2places and Drei König all offer hotel rooms – so your guests can stay right on site.
How far in advance should you book a Christmas party?+
For the run-up to Christmas we recommend enquiring as early as possible – popular December dates book up quickly. Simply send us your preferred date and the number of guests.
Are there vegetarian and vegan options for groups?+
Yes. Every house offers vegetarian dishes, and we cater for vegan wishes too – at the Say Cheese fondue, for example, with the vegan ‘Garden of Eden’. Just let us know about any intolerances when you enquire.
