The house
The Schlotzeria in Grenzach-Wyhlen is the Wio Group's artisanal gelato manufactory – gelato made to recipes by Michelin-starred chef Nicolai Wiedmer, produced in small batches and freshly churned every day.
The finest ingredients are a given: Black Forest milk, Sicilian pistachios and coffee from the Stoll roastery. Up to 24 flavours – served in the café, designed by the internationally renowned designer Sebastian Herkner.
Above the café lie eight individual hotel rooms, from single rooms to superior doubles. For celebrations and the hospitality trade, we also offer our ice cream through ice cream van catering and our gelato wholesale service.
